Class Skill Level
Very Beginner - No knowledge of quilting, tools or techniques. No previous quilting or sewing skills. Classes requiring machines you must know how to use your sewing machine.
Beginner - Has some basic knowledge of sewing and quilting. Familar with how to use a rotary cutter, mat and ruler. Comfortable using their machine for the straight stitch.
Confident Beginner - Has finished a beginning class, confident in using a rotary cutter, ruler, mat and able to maintain a 1/4 inch seam allowance, but still needs help with some projects.
Intermediate - Confident in sewing triangles, points, and other bias seams. Can read and follow directions for most patterns.
Advanced - Accomplished in most quilting techniques. Looking to learn new techniques and other skills.
Class Information
All students will receive a supply list when they sign up.
It is the Students responsibility to have all the supplies before the start of the class.
Students should plan to bring their own sewing machine and supplies to class. If your machine is not working or is not portable, you may reserve a machine for $10.00 for the duration of the class. This is a non-refundable fee. Please notify us at the time of registering if reservations are needed.
All classes are held in the Quilter’s Heart Classroom unless otherwise noted.
Class instruction will not include layering or binding of projects, unless otherwise noted.
Cancellations: If a class is cancelled due to a shortaqe of students, we will notify those registered and try to reschedule or issue a store credit.
If fabric has been purchased for a cancelled class, sorry but we cannot refund fabric.
If a class is cancelled due to poor weather, we will make every effort to notify students in advance. We also recommend calling prior to leaving home in poor weather.
If you wish to cancel a class, we require a seven day notice if you are to receive a full refund.

Turning Twenty Just Got Better, Turning Twenty Into Diamonds
Saturday April 9th, 10:30 - 3:00
This is a simple quilt that looks much harder than it is. It's all about the colors. This is a great class to help build your knowledge and confidence. This is a class for beginners to Advanced Quilters that just want to expand their knowlege. Book required $12.95.

Finishing Class
Bring in a project you want to work on and Wanda will give you advise and ideas. These classes are very popular and you will be glad you came.

Learn the Basics: Tuesdays, May 3rd, 10th, & 17th. 6:30 to 8:30pm
Learn the basic techniques of quilting that will give you a solid foundation to use as a spring board to more complicated projects. Students will make a table runner. You will learn numerous techniques and building a wealth of quilting knowledge. This class starts with cutting, piecing, getting the quilt ready for quilting, basic quilting, and last but not least the binding. You will learn to complete a project. When you take this class you will have learned the skills to tackle just about any quilting project. The Basics is an excellent opportunity to start at the beginning no matter how long you’ve been quilting.
