Sarah and Pam are both still helping out and I feel very blessed that they have both become valued friends. I don't know how we got along without them.
Lucky us..... We now have Wanda Hanson teaching. Check out the class schedule she is doing eight classes. Wanda brought one of her friends Sue Wauer into the shop last week. She used to work with her at QBU and also taught. She has agreed to do a Raggy Tee-shirt class. We still have Sarah Stevens, Susan Bukvick, Roxi Pekoc, and Linda Berry, with classes comming up. The teachers are all dedicated and talented quilters. You learn new ideas and techniques from each one. I feel very lucky to have each of them as friends and instructors.
We strive to have a well rounded shop with selections of fabric that cater to just about every quilter.
Our policy is to make every visit to Quilters Heart an enjoyable exerience.

Quilters Heart opened April 6th, 2004 with about 300 bolts of fabric and lots of plans. We've been here at 603 E. Railroad Street over a year. We now average of 3000 bolts of fabric. We still have the same three family members working. Ashley (grandaughter) graduated early from Oswego East and starts college in January 2008. She works at a nursing home and still is able to work for us on most Saturdays. She really likes being invloved in ordering fabric, still brings lots of young new ideas and is still master of the Web site. I am learning, you can teach an old dog new tricks, but you have to be patient. Becky (White) Stockwell, daughter, is still trying to keep the rest of us in line but I think by now she knows its a lost cause. We still occasionally recruit my younger grandchildren to help with pricing thread, making copies, or putting labels and stamps on the newsletters, cleaning up the yard and parking lot, and anything else they can do. They all love helping at the shop.
